Welcome

My name is Idoko Emmanuel, I am a software engineer and also a teacher. I teach on how to develop the web and how to create other helpful applications.

My Experience & Journey

Growing Up

I was born and brought up in Kogi state, Nigeria. Where I spent most of my childhood and teenage life before I started floating around my country which may not really be for good reasons but was super fun.

Family

I come from an average Nigerian home, we didn’t really had a lot but one thing we never lacked was happiness and peace, although I always wanted more and that has been my trouble and at same time my drive.

We are from the igbo trybe of Enugu Nigeria. we are religious, as a child I never remembered missing church on Sundays. We believe in hard work, integrity, humility and perseverance.

My Major

1. Finishing BSc in Mathematics

I love computer but ending up with mathematic was challenging then but later in my career as a software developer, I was happy that I came from Math background.

2. Becoming a software developer

Becoming a self thought software developer wasn’t that easy but am glad I did.

3. Teaching others

It is one thing to learn and another to teach but I would say that there is more in teaching than in learning.

4. Getting a job after school

Although I don’t wish my current job to be my last but am happy doing what I love.
